In 2006, Melanie observed a need for niche and personalized strategic support services to clients.  This motivated the launch of MJC Consulting Group.

After over a decade in business, MJC has had the tremendous opportunity to serve a vast array of reputable clients, ranging for global investment firms, banks and insurance companies, Ivy League institutions, top 10 pharmaceutical companies worldwide, global airlines, along with smaller highly regarded clients.

She has conducted over 100 market research studies along with strategic business process redesign, organizational design, change management and communications projects.   During her career, she has managed project teams of all sizes, maintains an extremely high client satisfaction level, and retains over 85% repeat client business.

Prior to founding MJC, Ms. James Cosgrove worked nearly 14 years for international consulting firms, KPMG and BearingPoint.  She holds a bachelors from the College of William and Mary, and a Masters from the University of Pennsylvania.   She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) professional and is a good standing member of Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA).

Abbie Lamb is an inquisitive, creative professional specializing in market research and enterprise resource planning who has served myriad industries including financial, pharmaceutical, education, and nonprofit.  Ms. Lamb is adept at gathering actionable insight and developing sound processes and functional solutions to support optimal customer service and organizational effectiveness.

She has market research expertise in areas like comprehensive project management, facilitation, and analysis and recommendations.  Ms. Lamb also excels in Enterprise Resource Planning / Large Scale System Implementation, which she demonstrates through business requirement specification, process redesign, operational process flows, change management, Functional and User Acceptance Testing, and communications.

She attended Carnegie Mellon University for her undergraduate studies, and she received her Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, Fels Institute of Government.

Dr. Curtis Frazier Ph.D.,SVP

Curtis is actively involved in client development, as well as executing advanced analytic techniques.  His primary areas of interest are in conjoint analysis, hierarchical Bayesian analysis, and segmentation methodologies.

Curtis holds a PhD and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Houston, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.  He regularly presents at marketing research conferences and has recently contributed a chapter on conjoint analysis/discrete choice models for The Handbook of Marketing Research.

Nita works at the nexus of education and business. In 2006, she founded Alight LLC, a strategic, advisory, and training services consultancy for clients tackling public education challenges in the United States and globally. Her clients have involved leaders of the largest school districts in the country, governments, as well as not and for‐profit entities. Her work has included managing multi-million dollar public sector projects at a former Big 5 consulting firm (BearingPoint), overseeing a $2 billion portfolio of education technology projects at the NYC Department of Education, overhauling a 100K-sized school district of at-risk students, teaching English and working for a software company in Japan, and teaching policy to undergraduates in the CUNY system.

Nita was a Broad Resident in Urban Education, and is a graduate of Columbia University and the George Washington University School of Business. She holds certifications as a holistic health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, as a therapeutic yoga teacher from Pure Yoga, as a facilitator from the International Institute for Restorative Justice, and as a mediator from the NY Peace Institute (formerly SafeHorizon). She has lived and worked in Japan and Spain, loves to travel, and currently resides in NYC with her husband.

Doug Keith has more than 20 years of experience in the research industry, doing both qualitative and quantitative work.  Doug trained as a focus group moderator at the Burke Research Institute in Cincinnati, OH, and has conducted in-depth interviews and focus groups for a variety of clients across industries, including broadcast and cable, IT, telecom, health insurance, pharmaceutical, CPG, retail, and financial services.  Doug has led qualitative research in all styles:  in-depth interviews, in-home ethnographies, dyads and triads, small and large focus groups, online bulletin boards, and auditorium testing.
